Writing Subgrant Agreements

Gain knowledge to better understand the processes and rules to put forth a confident subgrant agreement that is compliant with the federal award agreement.

Once awarded, many grantees are lacking the understanding of crafting a subaward agreement. Often times grantees do not have an expert in federal award subagreements and do not input the required elements of a subaward agreement. This can cause problems when managing a subawardee. This information will help those responsible for writing subgrant agreements to understand the rules applicable to subawards, the elements within a subgrant agreement and then how to manage subgrantees. The information will also explain the difference between the subrecepient and a contractor. This topic is critical for grantees so they can ensure the subaward agreement meets the requirements of the federal award agreement.
