Government Contractors' OFCCP Requirement Updates

Understand government contractors’ OFCCP requirements and the impact of new administration. Predicting what policy changes an administration will make is difficult after a typical election year . . . and Donald Trump’s successful campaign was anything but typical. President Trump has already followed through on a number of his campaign promises. One of the promises made was to relieve businesses of burdensome regulations proposed, enacted and enforced during President Obama’s Administration. So what does OFCCP look like under a Trump administration? What will happen to the new EEO-1 reporting rule requiring employers with 100 or more employees to annually submit detailed pay and hours worked data for all employees that is slated to first be filed in 2018? Is it on the chopping block? Will it be modified? This topic will provide an overview of OFCCP’s latest enforcement trends, along with what has happened (or what we anticipate will happen) to those trends and the EEO-1 pay data reporting rule under a new administration.
